Broken trunk latch on the 2021 Toyota GR Supra 2.0 on Delivery.

You heard that right. on delivery the trunk latch for this car ended breaking. For seemingly no reason and costing roughly 1.7K CAD just to fix. Sharing this here as a little sweet treat for anyone who ever goes through something like this. Unfortunately for me, on delivery I had refused any kind of warranty on the car as I had plans to modify and do most of the repairs myself.

This specifically had me in a place where I had no interest in dealing with since the trunk was shut and the space to work was tiny. In this specific scenario, paying a professional to do it was more worth it and we didn't know who to go with that wasn't called Toyota. Now feels good to know that there's more options on the table.
