RoaringShifts is for people who are into cars. These are the rules that keep it that way, and what to do when someone breaks them.
Every post, listing, comment, meet, club, profile and message has a “…” menu with Report in it. Tell us what's wrong and it goes straight to our team.
Reports are private. The person you report is never told who reported them.
We review reports and act on them — that can mean removing the content, or removing the account. We aim to look at everything within one business day.
Blocking is separate from reporting, and you don't need a reason. A blocked person can't message you and you won't see their messages.
You can block from the same “…” menu, or from anyone's profile. Undo it any time under Settings → Blocked accounts.
We host meets and live drives, so this needs saying plainly: don't organise or promote street racing, takeovers, or driving that puts people at risk. Track days and closed-course events are what this platform is for.
Location sharing during a cruise is opt-in, limited to the lobby you joined, and you can set private areas that are never shared. Using someone's shared location to follow or harass them will get the account removed.
Depending on what happened, we remove the content, restrict the account, or ban it. Serious things — threats, fraud, anything involving a minor — skip straight to a ban and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities.
If you think we got it wrong, email help@roaringshifts.com and a person will look again.
