BRING YOUR OWN CAR: REGISTRATION REQUIRED: The Kentucky Region Porsche Club hosts this High Performance Driver Education event at NCM Motorsports Park, 505 Kimberlee A Fast Dr., Bowling Green, KY 42103. While it is a Porsche Club event, it is marquee friendly and welcomes other makes besides Porsche. KYPCA Driver's Education is an instructional activity, not a race or timed event, and is not a racing school. There are four run groups, with four or five 25-minute run sessions each day. Three 45-minute classroom sessions are available to all attendees and are mandatory for Green and Yellow run group drivers; one classroom session is mandatory for Blue run group drivers. An Advanced/Solo Lapping Day is held Friday, April 16, 2027. Tech and registration are open Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning in garages A and B. Garage rentals are managed by the track. Drivers must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license shown at registration. Snell Special Application 2015, 2020 or 2025 rated helmets are required, and car numbers must be applied to both sides. Seatbelts must be at least 3-point, with HANS or hybrid devices required when harnesses are used. Both driver and passenger windows must be fully down, rain or shine. Non-participants are not permitted in cars on track. Sound limit is 103 dB at 50 feet. Closed-toe shoes with leather or canvas uppers are required, and a completed Technical Inspection Form is required. Event fees are $600 for students and instructed drivers, $550 for solo and advanced non-instructed drivers, $300 for the Advanced Lapping Day, and $350 for a single-day solo or advanced registration. Two-day instructors pay $185 and three-day instructors pay $300. Registration is pre-paid through MotorsportReg.com. Each attendee receives a custom event t-shirt free of charge.
