Audi Club Western PA - Whiskey Tasting and Dinner

Audi Club Western Pennsylvania invites chapter members to a whiskey tasting at McLaughlin Distillery, followed by dinner at Thorn Hill Tap House.

McLaughlin Distillery is in the wooded hills of Western Pennsylvania, about 20 minutes northwest of downtown Pittsburgh.

Its craft operation does not rely on corporate automated machinery or visitor centers.

Visitors step directly onto a working floor where raw grain, bubbling mash, copper stills and oak barrels come together through manual labor.

The tasting takes place in the space where the spirits were distilled.

Dinner follows at Thorn Hill Tap House, about seven minutes away.

The restaurant uses fresh, local ingredients for its casual, family-friendly menu and offers a wide selection of draft beers.

The restaurant's name comes from the Thorn Hill work farm for delinquent boys that once stood down the road.
