Bathurst 12-Hour Race Camping Weekend 2027

Camping weekend for the Bathurst 12-Hour Race, organised by the Vintage Sports Car Club of Australia.

The organisers aim to arrive by 4 pm on Friday 12 February, and campers can stay until Monday morning, when the group departs.

Most people turn up on Friday.

To take part, buy event tickets for each attendee online, complete the Entry Form, and make your payment to the VSCCA account, designating it as your name followed by Batcamp.

Campsites cost $260 per site, with one vehicle per site and up to four people per site.

If you have more people, the organisers will work something out.

The dinners are meant to bring people together in a communal setting.

Friday night is seafood fresh from the markets (oysters, prawns, smoked salmon, mussels, bread and salad), Saturday night is curry with all accompaniments, and Sunday night is pasta.

Dinners cost $35 per person per dinner including wine, and $10 per junior member or child per dinner.

On Saturday morning there is an 80 km old car run, stopping at The Hub on Rocket Street for breakfast.

Departure is at 7.30 sharp, with a limit of 20 people per booking, so let the organisers know as soon as possible if you want to attend.

On site there is on-site parking (preference is given to "proper cars"), a port-a-loo, taps with potable water but no power, and a TV in the mess tent to watch the race.

Showers and a toilet block are nearby, and tea and coffee facilities are in the mess tent.

Bring your own drinks in cans, as there are daily limits, and no glass.

Various food stalls are available around the track.
