Canadian Tire Magic of Lights 2026

Edmonton's holiday drive-thru tradition returns for the 2026 season.

Canadian Tire Magic of Lights transforms RAD Torque Raceway into a 2.7-kilometre route with more than 2 million LED lights and animated displays.

Scenes include Twas The Night Before Christmas, Santa's Mountain, Winter Wonderland, 12 Days of Christmas, Toyland, Festive Elves and Reindeer Road, along with Alberta's longest light tunnel at 425 feet.

Attractions include Mattel's Waving Christmas Barbie, Prehistoric Christmas with life-sized dinosaurs, the BIGFOOT Monster Truck, a back-flipping Santa and 4 additional 200-foot light tunnels.

The display is open nightly from November 19, 2026 to January 2, 2027.

Weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) run 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and weekends (Friday and Saturday) run 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Car Flex Pass is one ticket for everyone in your car, up to 8 people, with no date or time to book.

It can be used on any day or time during the 2026 season, up to January 2nd.

The Car Dash Pass costs a few dollars more per vehicle and uses the Dash Pass lane to skip the line.

Limo Dash Passes cover 9 to 16 passengers and Bus Dash Passes cover 17 or more passengers; limos and buses are not provided by the facility.

A new Season Pass gives unlimited visits for the season.

It is not transferable and is one per vehicle.

Passes bought at the gate carry an additional $5 surcharge.

All ticket sales are final, with no refunds, credits or exchanges.

A portion of proceeds from each vehicle supports 880 CHED Santas Anonymous and Canadian Tire Jumpstart.

Flashing lights and rapidly changing patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.

Some daylight may remain in the early evening, and the display becomes more vibrant as darkness sets in.
