CKP Kart Owner Practice

Come to Carolina Kart Park and drive your own kart on our 0.7-mile paved kart track!

Enjoy a day of open practice with fellow karting enthusiasts.

We strive to provide a relaxed environment where you can take your time to tune your kart as well as your driving skills.

We typically run our full course for practice (counter-clockwise).

Drivers must bring their own kart.

The kart must be a sprint kart designed for on-road use/racing.

Off-road karts, dirt/oval karts, and karts with cages are not permitted.

The kart must be no louder than 105db, measured from the false grid fence.

The track manager reserves the right to refuse a kart deemed unsafe or unfit for kart practice.

Closed-toed shoes are required and long pants are recommended.

A full-faced helmet (DOT approved or greater) is required, and rentals are available for $25/day.

Drivers must be 5 or older.

Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must sign a minor safety waiver and supervise the minor at all times.
