GT Fabrication Bunbury Rallysprint 2026

This is a motorsport event featuring fully prepared rally vehicles racing on closed public roads in the Halifax Light Industrial Area.

It showcases skilful driving through the many turns on the stages.

Saturday: scrutiny of the cars takes place at the South West Regional TAFE, Somerville Drive, Bunbury, from 1.00pm to 4.00pm, where students can help the scrutineers.

From 5.30pm to 8.00pm the cars are on display next to the Blair Street car park on the Pat Usher foreshore, for a Shannons Show N Shine.

Sunday: competition runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm at McCombe Road, which becomes the Service Park.

Competitors race the clock at 20-second intervals, split into Odds & Evens groups running from fastest to slowest.

Runs are clockwise in the morning and anti-clockwise after the lunch break.

The trophy presentation is at McCombe Road, with an award ceremony from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Spectators get in free.

Spectator zones are along the course, and the spectator guide maps are available from the Rally Van on McCombe Rd, opposite Gibbons Rd.

Parking is on the side of the road near spectator points, not on South West Highway.

Road closures last about four hours on the day of competition.

Food stalls will be on site.

Follow event marshals, stay behind safety barriers and never cross the track during the event.

Bring sun protection and comfortable footwear, as the event is outdoors on uneven terrain.

Pets must be left at home, alcohol is prohibited and the event is smoke-free.
