Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional 2027

The Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional (FOTU) returns to Grimsthorpe Castle on 17 July 2027.

It celebrates the everyday cars that once filled driveways and roads across the UK and are now rarities in their own right, from quirky hatchbacks and saloons to forgotten family favourites.

The festival runs from 7:30 am to 5 pm.

Tickets for non-members are £27 and for Hagerty Drivers Club (HDC) members £20.25.

Passengers pay the same as drivers, and children under 15 are free.

Early bird tickets have sold out.

Friday night camping is charged per pitch at £75, and each pitch accommodates up to two adults and two children.

Campers can arrive from 3pm on the Friday and must leave by 7pm on the Saturday.

The pitch includes access to the Friday-night FOTU experience with live music, a bar, food and early car siting at the show.

Camper vans are welcome.

The Concours de l'Ordinaire is a judged display of 50 of the best FOTU cars, hand-picked by the judges.

Cars must be registered between 1972 and 2002 and must be entered in advance; cars cannot simply be turned up on the day.

Judges look for originality and ordinary, less exotic versions of cars.

Expect a huge display of unexceptional cars, live entertainment, food and drinks, and family-friendly activities, along with the FOTU Forecourt.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

HDC members area tickets are available to the general public in a small batch at £20 per person, with children free when accompanied by a paying adult.

These include access to the HDC Members Area, a free drink from the licensed bar, complimentary snacks and comfortable seating.
