Late Summer HPDE 2027

BRING YOUR OWN CAR: book a spot with the host to drive. The Late Summer HPDE is a High Performance Driver Education event held at Pueblo Motorsports Park in Pueblo, CO, on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29, 2027. It is organized by PCA

Alpine Mountain Region. Vehicle requirements: it is the responsibility of all drivers to present a vehicle that is safe to operate in high-performance driving situations and is in sound mechanical condition. All registered vehicles must pass PCA/AMR/RMR Tech Inspection before attendance. Inspections are done by a regionally approved person or shop and are generally a free service. Self-tech is not permitted, and there is no tech inspection at the track. At registration each driver must present a completed PCA Tech Inspection Form: either a 2025 120-day Tech Inspection Form (a 30-day form is also acceptable), signed by an approved shop or person. A 120-day inspection must have been completed no more than 120 days before the event. If using the 120-day form, bring the original copy to registration along with a completed 3rd page. Drivers without either the original 120-day or 30-day form will not be allowed to participate. The 30-day form is highly recommended for newer HPDE participants or those who take part in other track activities. The organizer advises checking tires and brake pad thickness when using the 120-day form, since many drivers have ended their weekend early due to insufficient brake pad thickness or corded tires, especially after multiple events since the initial inspection. Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's license. Long pants, short or long sleeve shirts and closed toe shoes are acceptable. Full rules are in the Drivers Info Sheet attached to the event page. Registration opens Sunday, June 20, 06:00 AM UTC.
