Lydden Hill Car Track Day 2026

Get behind the wheel and experience Lydden Hill for yourself.

Enjoy a full day on track in a safe, controlled and non-competitive environment, with no racing or lap timing.

Track Days are a great way to learn more about your vehicle while enjoying the unique challenge of driving Lydden Hill.

There is no racing, no timing and no pressure to set a new lap record.

Simply drive at a pace you feel comfortable with and enjoy the experience.

The Car Track Day runs from 9am to 3pm, with 6 x 15-minute sessions throughout the day.

Spectator entry is free before 10am.

From 10am onwards, a valid ticket is required, and spectators can watch the action from trackside.

From 3pm to 6pm the circuit hosts Kent Outlaw Oval Racing; a ticket bought for entry from 10am includes access for the rest of the day, including the afternoon oval racing.

Drivers must hold a full, unrestricted licence for the relevant vehicle category issued by the DVLA or an overseas equivalent, or an eligible Motorsport UK licence (Race National, RS National, Race Club or higher).

Motorsport UK Clubman, Interclub and kart licences are not accepted.

Drivers under 16 are not permitted.

Drivers aged 16 to 18 need written parental or guardian consent, and the parent or guardian must be present and complete signing-on.

Cars should conform to MOT minimum standards or current Motorsport UK or Oval Track Racing Council technical and safety regulations, and must have working seat belts or harnesses worn at all times.

Vehicles over 1.85m in height are not permitted, and hybrid and electric vehicles are prohibited unless written permission is granted in advance.

Register in advance through the Lydden Hill Race Circuit registration page.

Signing on and wristband collection for drivers and passengers starts at 07:30 at the signing-on office.

A safety briefing is compulsory for all drivers, and a verbal briefing takes place on the day at approximately 08:30am in the marquee.

Car groups receive three sighting laps at the start of their first session, and overtaking is not permitted during sighting laps.
