New Year's Day Classic Gathering 2027

Brooklands Museum's largest annual event celebrates classic vehicles on New Year's Day, 1 January 2027, from 9am to 4pm.

Visitors are welcome to bring their cherished classic, and the event is described as probably the largest New Year's Day Classic Gathering in the UK.

Expect a vast display of vehicles, with live music, a winter BBQ, and breakfast and lunch stalls, so there is something for the whole family.

Visitors with vehicles (including motorcycles) registered up to and including 1997 can bring them on site.

These carry an R prefix, e.g.

R123 ABC.

Modern sports cars and supercars registered from 1998 onwards are also very welcome.

Vehicles will fill the Finishing Straight, Aircraft Park, Members Banking, the area around Concorde and the Motoring Village.

The event is included in Museum admission, and Museum members go free (annual membership from £63).

Vehicle club bookings have a group rate of £19.99 per person.

Tickets are available on the door, but pre-booking is recommended as the event is always extremely popular.

Classic vehicles arrive from 8.30am via Campbell Gate, off Brooklands Road (postcode KT13 0QN).

Brooklands Members with pre-1997 classics use Vickers Gate until 12pm, after which cars are redirected to Campbell Gate.

Sports cars and supercars from 1998 onwards and pre-booked clubs use the Heights Entrance, off Wellington Way, until 12pm.

Normal visitor parking in The Heights opens at 9.00am, with a Blue Badge area there too.

If overflow parking is needed in the Community Park, a Park & Ride service will run.

Pedestrians can enter via the normal Admissions entrance or Campbell Gate from 9.00am.

The Museum exhibits open at 10am.
