Rumble in the Jungle 2026

The Baton Rouge Zoo proudly presents the 2nd Annual Rumble in the Jungle, a car show held throughout the grounds of the Baton Rouge Zoo on Saturday, December 5, 2026.

Following a successful inaugural event, this fundraiser returns with classic cars, muscle cars, trucks, motorcycles and custom builds on display.

Event activities run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., during normal zoo hours.

All registered vehicles will be displayed inside the Zoo, and space is limited.

Vehicle registration is open.

Cars are $65 and motorcycles are $35, and car and motorcycle participants receive one event t-shirt with registration.

New options are kid's Power Wheels for $10 (independent) or $5 as an add-on with car registration, and bicycles for $10 (independent) or $5 as an add-on with car registration.

These options do not include an event t-shirt.

Admission is sold at the gate only.

Adults pay $15, children 12 and under pay $10 regardless of membership status, and Zoo members, seniors, first responders and veterans pay $12.

Proceeds support the Baton Rouge Zoo and its mission of conservation, education and animal well-being efforts.

The Zoo is at 3000 Zoo Circle, Baker, LA 70714.

The new entrance is through Greenwood Community Park at 13350 Highway 19; at the roundabout, take the first exit.

Enter through Greenwood Park, not the old Thomas Road entrance.

If you are traveling southbound on Highway 19 from Zachary toward I-110, left turns into Greenwood Community Park are no longer permitted.
