S.T.E.A.M.'d Up for Kids 2027

S.T.E.A.M.'d Up for Kids is a playful, family-focused version of the award-winning Great Oregon Steam-Up, tailored for younger visitors.

It runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Powerland Heritage Park, 3995 Brooklake Road Northeast, Brooks, OR 97303.

The day includes a Steam Traction Engine pulling guests in a wagon, miniature train rides, a scavenger hunt, hands-on craft building, a toy truck play area, and steam tractors and traction engines on display.

Picture opportunities are available, and the country store sells food and merchandise.

All museums are open, including the miniature train rides (weather permitting).

Activities in prior years also included a build-it workshop, making ice cream, making rope, and hands-on STEM activities.

Admission is $10 for adults and those over age 12.

Children 12 and under are admitted free.

Parking is free.

Trolley rides cost an extra fee: adults $7, senior/military $5, youth $3, family $20, and children 2 and under ride free, with unlimited rides.

Tickets will be available online and on-site on the day of the event.

The event is held rain or shine, so wear walking shoes and be ready to explore the grounds.
