Tampa V-Club Tail of the Gecko 2026

Fourth Quarter Tail of the Gecko Road Rally, a scenic cruise through the Florida countryside on winding roads and sweeping curves, with lunch at the historic Linger Lodge Restaurant in Bradenton.

Sunday, November 8, 2026, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

The meet and greet starts at 9:30 AM at Chick-fil-A, 14310 S US Hwy 301, Riverview, FL 33598, to gather the group, review the route and prepare for departure.

The group then drives the planned route together.

This is a relaxed group cruise, not a timed competition.

Participants should maintain safe spacing and follow posted speed limits.

Lunch is at Linger Lodge Restaurant, 7116 85th Street Court East, Bradenton, FL 34202, a riverside Old Florida destination along the Braden River.

The property traces its history to 1945, when it began as a fishing and canoeing campground.

Cruise notes: arrive with a full tank of fuel, review the route before departure, and bring sunglasses, water and anything else you need for a comfortable drive.

If separated from the group, continue to the next designated regroup point or Linger Lodge.

RSVP is required in advance, since lunch arrangements are being made for approximately 30 attendees.

If plans change, update your RSVP so the restaurant headcount stays accurate.

Final departure and restaurant arrival times will be shared with registered attendees.
