Thanksgiving Road Rallies 2026

The Thanksgiving Road Rally is a two-day adventure through the scenic roads and small towns of southern Minnesota, held over Thanksgiving weekend, November 28–29, 2026. Bring your favorite car, bring a friend, and get ready for a weekend of driving, exploring and having a little fun along the way. Day one, Saturday November 28, starts and finishes at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton, with a full day of entertaining roads, interesting destinations and clever rally challenges. Day two, Sunday November 29, starts at Jackpot Junction and follows a new route to finish in Le Sueur, Minnesota. The route is designed for fun rather than flat-out speed, with challenging navigation and rally instructions, interesting stops and small towns. Whether you are a seasoned road rally competitor or have never done a rally before, the event is meant to be approachable. You do not need a race car, only a car, a navigator and a sense of adventure. Each driver must own the vehicle or have permission to use it, and the car must be duly insured. Required checks include headlights (high and low beams) and parking lights, taillights and brake lights, horn, windshield wipers and directional signals, rear-view mirror, foot brakes and parking brake, tires (inspected for sidewalk condition as well as tread), and seat belts securely installed for the driver and navigator. A safety triangle, first aid kit and tow rope are optional. Registration is through the Register now button on the event page. Hosted by SCCA
