Trapper's Loop is one of the oldest, continuous drives in the British Motor Club of Utah (BMCU) and is always a popular club favorite.
This year's drive is on August 23rd.
The group plans to meet as usual at the east end parking lot of Hogle Zoo, on 800 South (which becomes Sunnyside Ave that far east) and 2600 East in SLC.
Meet-up is at 8:30 am, with departure at 9:00 am.
The route runs up Emigration Canyon past East Canyon into Morgan, where the group stops at the Exxon/7-11 station.
It then heads down W Old Highway Road through Mountain Green, up past Snow Basin and over Trappers (State Rte. 167) into Ogden Valley and Pine View Reservoir.
From there it turns left on SR39 to the Pine View Dam and right on SR158.
Lunch is planned at The Mad Moose in Eden, where proprietor Mike Seguin and his crew have reserved the patio for the BMCU.
