VW Bamahenge Cruise - Pirate's Cove Lunch

Bamahenge and Dinosaurs and Pirates, OH MY!

A family-friendly VW outing organized by OSSi to check out wild Alabama roadside attractions.

Meet-up is at 9:00 AM at the Publix on Mobile Hwy (5998 Mobile Hwy, Pensacola, FL), with departure at 9:30 AM sharp.

The first stop is Bamahenge in Elberta, AL, a full-scale fiberglass Stonehenge replica with multiple stops hidden in the woods, plus life-size dinosaurs (T-Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Brontosaurus, and more oddities) peeking out.

Perfect for photos, laughs and fun for the kids.

The group then has lunch at Pirates Cove on the way home, not very far from Bamahenge.

Expect laid-back grub, cold drinks and a classic Gulf Coast beach party atmosphere, with great burgers and bushwhackers (non-alcoholic options too).

Bring your kids, your cameras, and your tools and spare parts.

It's a cruise, so no VWs left behind.

Whether you've got a Beetle, Bus, Thing, or any air-cooled classic, come roll with the crew on this scenic backroads adventure.
