Capo Valley 4 Wheelers - Anza Borrego Trail Run

This is an easy day trip run by Capo Valley 4 Wheelers.

Bring a lunch.

Meet at Xmas Circle in Borrego Springs (rest rooms available).

You can leave a tow vehicle there for the day.

The group leaves for the trails at 9 AM, with a stop just off pavement to air down on the way to Fonds Point and the mailbox at 17 Palms.

Lunch is at the Pumpkin Patch (vault toilet available).

Then it is off to Military Wash, Blow Sand Canyon and Goat Trail.

Pavement is nearby at Highway 78, where the group airs up and heads for home.

Always required: HAM radio on 146.550 MHz, full-sized spare tire, seat belts, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, battery tiedown, working brakes, tow straps and tow points.

Run requirements: 33+ sized tires, 2+ suspension lift and a 4LO transfer case.

The trail rating for this run is Difficulty Level 2: graded road; any 4x4 vehicle or higher clearance 2x4 vehicle with no other modifications.

Drivers should make sure their driving abilities and rig meet the run requirements.

The Liability Release Waiver must be printed, signed and handed to the Trail Boss at the start of the run.
