Motorsport Australia Women's Introduction to Motorsport 2026

Thanks to the Supercheap Auto Club Development Fund, the WA Sporting Car Club is presenting a Motorsport Australia Women's Introduction to Motorsport session at MotorMall Wanneroo Raceway on Thursday 19th November, 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

It is a hands-on entry point for those looking to get behind the wheel and build confidence in a structured, supportive environment, whether you are completely new or keen to refine the basics.

The session combines a guided theory session with practical on-track exercises covering driving position, vehicle dynamics, braking and car control.

Activities include braking and accelerating and practice and competitive Motorkhana runs, leading into main circuit laps guided by a Motorsport Australia Driver Coach around the Main Circuit.

The afternoon finishes with afternoon tea and a chance to network with other women within the motorsport field.

Requirements: minimum age 14; long sleeve shirt, long pants and enclosed shoes; a Motorsport Australia Track Day Licence; and your own mechanically sound, road-registered vehicle capable of safely undertaking the activities.

EV and hybrid vehicles are not permitted to enter.

Open face helmet hire is included.
