PCA-SDR Off-Road Tour 2026

Join the Porsche Club of America San Diego Region for a half day of off-road driving just outside of Ramona, CA, followed by a no-host lunch in Ramona after the drive. The event lets you learn and experience the off-road abilities of your Porsche while enjoying the back country scenery of San Diego. This event is for Porsches only. About 2 hours of off-road driving are planned. Eligible vehicles are a mechanically reliable Cayenne or Macan, or a Safari-style 911 or 911 Dakar, with no deferred maintenance and at least all-season tires. Well maintained, unmodified Cayennes and Macans should be able to take part without special off-road equipment or preparation. Off-road driving experience is not necessary. The event is rain or shine. The morning meeting is at 8AM on Saturday, November 7 in the vicinity of downtown Ramona, with the drive beginning around 9AM. The exact meet point and route are sent the evening before because of trail condition changes and closures, and further details come by email in the week before the event. Attendance is limited, so register as soon as possible. Expect rocks, ruts and sticks on bushes, and a dusty and possibly muddy Porsche. Rains have recently passed, so trails may be less predictable. Bring your own Long Range FRS radio with 22 channels and CTCSS privacy code, fully charged, for the drive.
