Turn2 - Fri Aug 20th Open Track at Ridge Motorsports Park

Turn2 Motorsports events are designed to promote an atmosphere of having fun with our friends in a safe and predictable way.

Drivers are placed in one of three run groups based on their personal high performance driving abilities.

The A group is for seasoned track veterans, qualified racers and instructors, and every A driver must be personally signed off by Tom or Chris.

The B group is for drivers with a moderate amount of track time who are not yet ready for the A group.

The C group is for drivers recently signed off solo by an instructor from Turn2 or a similar venue; new track drivers need a dedicated instructor to run in the C group.

Instructors are available for all skill levels.

Drivers from 14 to 114 are accepted, and passengers as young as 14 may ride with a qualified driver.

Minimum age to drive is 14.

Each entrant must have a driver profile at Motorsportreg.com with personal info, emergency contact and all vehicle information updated.

Do a thorough tech inspection before the event; there is also a self tech at check-in.

Rollover protection is required for convertibles without stock manufacturer protection.

Helmets must be 2020 Snell rated or newer, and Turn2 has helmets for rent on request.

Track fees are $475 per day.

Checks, cash and Venmo are accepted; credit cards are no longer taken.

Confirmation letters are emailed about three weeks before the event, usually from MotorsportReg, so check junk mail.

The event is fully staffed with turn workers, a tow truck for disabled vehicles and local EMTs.

Anyone may buy food at the Ridge Cafe during the lunch break.

This is a high-speed driving event, not a racing event, and drivers are responsible for their own vehicle's safe operation and mechanical condition.

Track day insurance is available from several providers on a per-day basis.
