Turn2 Motorsports Open Track - Ridge Motorsports Park

Turn2 Motorsports events are designed to promote an atmosphere of having fun with friends in a safe and predictable way.

This open track day runs at Ridge Motorsports Park, Road Course in Shelton, WA, on Saturday, May 29, 2027.

It is a high-speed driving event, not a racing event.

Drivers are placed in one of three run groups based on their high performance driving ability.

The A group is for seasoned track veterans, qualified racers and instructors, and every A driver must be personally signed off by Tom or Chris.

The B group is for drivers with a moderate amount of track time who are not yet ready for the A group.

The C group is for drivers recently signed off solo by an instructor from Turn2 or a similar venue.

New track drivers need a dedicated instructor to run in the C group.

Instructors are available for all skill levels.

All drivers must be at least 14 years old, and passengers as young as 14 may ride with a qualified driver.

Each entrant needs a driver profile at Motorsportreg.com with personal, emergency contact and all vehicle information updated.

Helmets must be 2020 Snell rated or newer, and Turn2 has helmets for rent on request.

Convertibles without manufacturer rollover protection must have rollover protection installed.

Drivers should complete a thorough tech inspection before the event, and there is a self tech at check-in.

Track fees for the 2027 driving season are $475 per day.

A dedicated instructor is $300 for the day, or $50 per session for experienced drivers who want an instructor.

Checks, cash and Venmo are accepted, and credit cards are not.

Paying by Venmo or check before the event speeds up morning check-in.

A confirmation email comes from MotorsportReg about three weeks before the event, so check your junk mail.

Cancellations within one week owe half the track fees, and cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows owe the full amount.

Cancellation insurance is offered.

Track day insurance is also available from Lockton Insurance, Hagerty, On Track Insurance and others.

Events are fully staffed with turn workers, a tow truck for disabled vehicles, and local EMTs.

A lunch break lets anyone buy food from the Ridge Cafe.
